The ring has been in his possession for about 4 months now, and I have been doing my very best to be patient. We had some talks- and it came out that there were 2 reasons he was waiting 1) to ask my parents blessing and 2) to make the proposal memorable.
I know that it is very important to him to ask for my parent''s blessing in person- and since they live far away - it wasn''t something that he could do easily. Well a about a month ago my parents announced they were coming to visit! My FF has made it clear that he is going to take advantage of their visit to talk to my parents
. So in about 2 weeks he will be talking to them! I am super excited! I know that the proposal won''t necessarily follow the talk with my parents but it is certainly wonderful progress
