I am in a trial period with a 2.6 ct asscher currently set with side traps but I don't think the traps give me enough finger coverage, size 7.25 finger. Would bullets or trillions or something else give better side to side finger coverage?
Post pics if you have ideas! Thanks

I would add something after the traps and make a five stone!

Oh I had the same dilemma. I have an emerald cut with traps. The first wax I got didn't have enough finger coverage for me so I had my jeweler angle up the traps more. It made a huge difference!

Trillions would be similar to traps. Bullets may give you more East/West coverage. I think traps are great because they give you both East/West and North/South coverage.

Can I ask you what color the asscher is? And, if you are comfortable sharing, what your approximate budget is? Because I just saw an amazing ring last weekend-it’s an asscher three stone but the asschers were a hair warm.

Can you post a photo of the ring on your finger? If you have traps now, adding bullets to make it a 5 stone might work but it would help to see how much coverage you have now.

The asscher is a G. I'd still like to see what 3 stone you saw. Please share :)

That may be the ticket! I have always liked that 5 stone style. I can post a photo later, however, it needs to be resized so it doesn't fit my ring finger but I can still tell I'd need more E-W coverage

This ring may be too antique-y for you. It's so beautiful irl. 5.81 ctw. But the stones are warmer.
