Photos weren't easy to take so not sure if good enough determination can be made. I do see quite a bit of blue straight on but it does show much red when tilted left and right. Appreciate your thoughts.

It can go either way depending on the viewer.
How does it look to you?
The problem with ASET is blue really close to the center of the scope and blue close to the red are 2 different things in the real world.
One stays dark at longer distances in the real world than the other. One might stay dark at 20inches(not good) the other may only stay dark out to 11 inches in which case ASET is a false negative.

The stone is pretty nice. Difficult to decide. On one hand it seems a little dark in certain lighting but very nice in most lighting. Yet on the other hand it's frustrating to have to keep looking.

So static is a mixed bag, how is the dancing when moved?

It seems to have decent contrast back and forth. I'm just wondering if I'm being too picky and making too much of a big deal. My fear is I may be looking for perfection when I will always find something not just right.

I understand
If it doesn't speak to you then consider looking for one that does.
