Do asschers have a tendency to reflect or be sensitive to surrounding colors? In other words and for example, is it normal for you to see the color of an adjacent wall in an asscher or would seeing the color of any surrounding wall, or ceiling for that matter, be an indication of a poor cut? I have seen asschers reflect black of a black ceiling and blue from a blue wall and black of a black shirt. Is it ok to see this or should this not happen? Would an excellent cut asscher still do this? I'm wondering if step cuts in general do this normally since they have more mirror like facets.
