This is about four years overdue, but bling is bling, right? I couldn't find many reviews on Astteria at the time I was looking to buy, and meant to post when I got it, but I wasn't very active on here and time sure flies... So with the apologies out of the way...

I love the ring and get so many compliments on it, but honestly don't love the center stone. It's a GIA 0.21 ct VLP I1 with lots of twinning wisps and usually looks cloudy and dark. I can post the cert if anyone is interested. I've considered replacing it, but with what?

Lovely! I wouldn't touch it. Popping anything in there in the 0.2-ct range that isn't a FCD doesn't seem to make much sense. Or is that what you mean -- a different FCD? Depending upon your budget, a cleaner pink -- but you'll need to match the proportions in three axes and not disrupt the haloes. I look to custom-cut for those size restrictions and then you're talking less precious gems where the wastage won't make you sick and there just aren't that many killer non-FCD 0.2-ct gems to choose from. Maybe a fine ruby, but I would not cut that down to fit.

Others will have better/more imaginative ideas, I'm sure. Not an expert on any of these things.

Yes, I thought of all the same complications... I guess the setting itself isn't special enough to warrant going to great lengths.
