This is the sapphire ring I’m going to sell as I now have bigger!
It’s set in 9ct White gold (this is an Australia or UK gold assay, US has 10kt). The sapphire is just over 1 carat by dimensions (6.1mm round).
It isn’t certificated but it is heated (checked under microscope).

The similar bracelet in 14kt yellow gold has a slightly bigger sapphire that has more silk and it’s not quite as vivid blue as the ring.

@Bron357

Tell me more about what you know about the them? Uncerted, but best guess on color? Do they perform well in light conditions? The cut is round obviously, but nicely cut?? I don't even know what to ask...!!!

At first glance, the ring makes my heart pitter patter...

The sapphire in the ring is vivid. It looks good a great blue in nearly any light. It’s a round brillant cut, sapphires aren’t assessed like diamonds for light return. It’s a nice gem.
The bracelet sapphire isn’t as vivid, and more sleepy but it’s probably closer to 1.3 carats so bigger.

@Bron357 does the stone show any wear or chips? I hope you’re ok with my questions, I can only afford 1 sapphire in this life :roll2:

How is it indoor lighting? Without flash but bright light? Maybe you already have...oh yes! The first photo..

I'd like to be next if Begonia passes please :D

Woah - lovely blue color!
The ring was an amazing eBay /pawn finds sold as costume, right?
What a find

Here are some more. I am the most hopeless photographer and I’m using my old iPhone. No fancy effects here ha ha.
Some inside kitchen and outside in a fraction of sunshine (rainy here today)
There is a minuscule chip to the top 11 o’clock position. You can’t see it with your eye only when magnified and in the right position. The gem is very tightly set, 8 prongs closed in bottom so not much light access. Should look even better in a more open setting.DB9CBCEB-1C6F-4B52-984B-58B8058205D5.jpeg6D44F0E6-DFCD-4DC2-A1B4-6A57D7A333C1.jpeg9CDB02CE-9124-426A-8C14-4997D13B7C4D.jpeg04E92914-293D-420D-87DE-BC144D177674.jpegF7498115-0E49-473F-B4C9-A4A3C8E687B8.jpegF3352F3C-DD3F-4BD7-BA8E-5790B2A0D60F.jpeg

That's a lovely stone. How exciting to think it could brighten further in a different setting!

I don't want to assume anything, but you seem interested in selling. I'm interested in buying, and your stone might be doable for me in terms of budget. Are you thinking of putting it up for sale soon?

I’ve made a listing on Loupe Troop so you can email me to discuss.

Begonia: Bron has stated it does not have any lab report, which means it could be heated, or it could be heated and have further more invasive treatment, which would render it quite inexpensive. There are few labs which have the necessary equipment to discern the difference. Sometimes labs can tell that a stone only has had heat treatment, but oftentimes not, requiring a full lab report from either GIA or AGL to know for certain. Just thought you should be aware of this before deciding to purchase...

Thank you for that info @minousbijoux! Kinda flying blind without one then. What do you suggest I do? Should I pass it over, or hope the price reflects this? What other treatments besides heat, could it possibly have??
