So August ladies, this is it. The countdown to our weddings has begun.
How are you all feeling knowing that by the end of the month, you will be married?
I am very excited. I''m getting a little more anxious now, my mother has noticed that I am starting to fuss over details. We need to give the recption venue official numbers in the coming week so we can finalise food orders, tabe arrangements and such. We''re still waiting for a few RSVP''s, in one case I am understanding because my uncle is very sick right now so might only be able to decide finally whether or not he is well enough to come a couple of days before the wedding. He might even feel well enough right up to the day before and have to pull out. That''s fine, I totally understand. In another case, I am fine about them leaving it a little late as they were a last minute addition and they are waiting to see if they can get the time off work. However, my other uncle has had two months to "finalise his plans for the summer" and has still not responded. He is retired but still works within his company. He is always jetting off round the globe, literally every few weeks he is on holiday somewhere. So if he had no plans at the time of receiving the invitation, surely he could have replied with a "yes" then built his plans around that? Just my opinion...
But apart from some jitters about numbers, hair and make up trials etc, I am still relatively calm.
I have a few more placecards to make, am still waiting for some decorations and such to arrive, but we ARE getting there.
I just want to be a wife now...the wait is agonising!
