I love Christina''s doggie avatar too. I like Mrsalvo''s dog, because he/she looks so well behaved! Mrsalvo, I hope you don''t mind I posted your dog.

And I always see dogs like Matatora''s avatar (I think the dog is named Ava) and I say to my boyfriend, "Look it''s a Matatora"

My little boy loves Matatora''s avatar...I think he''s smitten with it. I was always fond of Aljdewey''s Velma...I miss Velma! She is my favorite Scooby character. I also love Patty''s, because her ring is my all time favorite on PS.

Her name is Winnie, but now she is in hammy heaven. She does look a bit like a mouse though.

There are lots of good avatars. I like Ally''s MY fiance was in LOVE with Reena''s where she had her cute little doggie.. He wanted to steal her dog.. Oh! and Milly with her ADORABLE little girl!

Great topic! I love funny avatars! Some of the ones that have had me cracking up (that I can remember this late at night!)- Strawdermangrl (so hilarious and at the same time so disturbing!

), blueroses (the Dirty Dancing Patrick Swayze and blue poodle avatar), Reena''s is great, so is moremoremore''s, and I think it was Platinumrock that used to have a Chris Farley clip that had me rolling!

I also love when people use pictures of their pets (so cute) and pictures of their bling (drool)! There are too many great avatars to list!

Oh! I dont know how I missed this! Yes that is my Ava baby...and she is the most fabulous Boston Terrier alive, not that I am bias.
I think all the diffrent avatars are neat. They give you a certain idea about the people who are on the other side of the computer screen. I like Blue24''s Matesse picture it lets us know she likes art. I also like it when people have spiffy names...but I am a goof like that. When I first came to PS around March or so I started a thread asking people to explain their avatars and one to explain their screen names. I will have to see if I can find them.

There are alot of great avatars out there. I especially like the ones with pets/animals.
Kimberly used to have one with a rabbit with a pancake on his head. That was one of my favorites!!
Reena is also one that I find hilarous, although it took me a minute to really see what it was.

KBerly has a cute one with a rabbit holding an H&A diamond.

I like being able to associate an avatar with a "name". When someone changes their avatar it takes me a while to line them up in my mind to their new avatar!

My avatar is usually cat oriented. No suprise there, considering my name means (loosely) cat lover in French.

I changed mine today, because I cant handle looking at the ring inspiration pic anymore. I want my ring so bad! The next ring I put in my avatar will be mine!

I love the avatar''s with rings in them. I loved mara''s old one with the giant ascher and firegodess'' ring pic, as well as MINE''s. THose are a few of my faves.

unfortunately, yes!!! for some reason Strawmandergrls avatar makes me shudder... is that the point? or am I weird? ah well.

sigh... I wish he would just... disappear into oblivion... but it seems that's not the case... I am a student at Berkeley and I don't know how many ppl ask me whether I know/knew him!! (there are over 20000 students at Cal, mind you!)

I love all the pet avatars, like the ones already posted, and Jadeleaves! and kiddie ones too - milly, jaysonsmom... I can't remember them all!

And I love any with bling too!

I looked it up online as I was curious what it meant myself.

Google defines it as "to skip town, leave without telling anyone, run away, etc."

In short? After two years of dating and having a long conversation discussing our "issues" and talking about how marriage might be the next step.. things got busy in his life and i assume he just couldn''t handle it all.. and yeah, next thing i know, i haven''t heard from the guy in six weeks.. so while we haven''t technically or officially "broken up".. i''m considering myself single now..

but i may have a date lined up soon.. soo.. whatever, we''ll see!
