Thank you so much!! Yes... here is the link:RissaLou said:Your nails are PERFECT for Thanksgiving!
I ADORE your ring...does it have it's own thread?? I would love to drool some more
YES! The spacer ring is actually in process as we speak. And staying true to my "heirloom" ring set, I am having the yellow gold from my original wedding ring, plus some of the gold from the ring my mom gave me (from my great aunt) melted down and combined to make the spacer ring! It is going to be a yellow gold twist with very fine milgrain on the edges of the twist. I will hopefully have it in a week or 2, I will be sure to post pics!diamondseeker2006 said:So pretty!!! I can't wait to see your Christmas nails!
(You are going to get a spacer ring, right? I hate to see that diamond band scratching your halo ring!)
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thank you, sweet friend! And good for you for going to the gym! I have been a BAD girl in that regard lately. It's hard to want to run in the rain (actually, it's hard to want to run at ALL these days) but I have to get back to it. I'm doing a 2-person relay in January (it's a half marathon, and I'll be running half of it, 6.2 miles I think) so I have to get my lazy butt back in gear!! I haven't run more than 3 miles since August.ClassyRocks said:Happy Thanksgiving!
Your rings are perfect! I love the way they turned out, and how significant the designs are; they are heirloom worthy for sure! The nails are nice too.
I'm off to the gym, and then a full day of Thanksgiving preparations to start.
Take Care and Have a Blessed Thanksgiving My Friend!

We should chat on another forum, but I just finished the Philly marathon! I should consider this ring a finishing medal. I didn't even get myself anything for the first one. Have a great relay! I've always wanted to do one. It sounds like lots of fun!

That is SO awesome!! Good for you!!
I don't really consider myself a runner... I am not a "natural" and it is very hard for me. I am very slow. But this year was a big year for me... I ran my first half-marathon in May! I had walked one 3 times before, and run-walked one once. But this was my first time "running" the whole thing. I know it wouldn't really be considered running to a lot of people (we finished in 2:36) but it was running for ME!
And then in August I participated in the Hood to Coast relay. It is the biggest relay in the world. I live in Oregon and the race goes from the top of Mt. Hood (in the Cascade mountain range) to the beach at Seaside. It is 200 miles. Every team has 12 runners and every runner runs 3 legs of the race. It took our team 35 hours and 7 minutes....
We decided it was a little like childbirth. When you're in the middle of it you think... this SUCKS and I am NEVER doing it again! But once it's over and you've accomplished it you say... WOW, what a great experience! I can't wait for next year!
Anyway... since the relay... I have barely run at all. I was supposed to do the whole half-marathon in January, but I talked my friend into doing the relay with me instead because I just can't stomach the idea of running 13 miles again right now. It was NOT easy for me!
But I think I will be fine with 6.2... I just need to get my butt back in gear.
Good for you for doing the marathon!!! After doing 13.1 I don't think I have ANY desire to do 26.2... I think I would be happy to do 10K races about 5 times a year and never go farther than that! But I really admire people who can do it. I just wish I was one who loved it.
And you TOTALLY need a gift for yourself for finishing a marathon!!! Great job!!!
