AVC in halo setting

The wait almost killed me but its finally here!

My sister-in-law's 2.2 AVC, J, VS2 in a custom GOG halo setting is home at last. The stone and setting is beautiful but I must say my Victor Canera setting has much better workmanship...at least to my eye. I've added them both for comparison and threw in my other sister-in- laws 2.55, G, RB in Whiteflash setting for good measure.

This is my second time working with GOG and I can't say enough good things about their customer service. They were a dream to work with.

The ring is stunning. The setting looks quite beautiful from what I can tell. I would love high quality pictures if you have some.

Wow, that AVC looks AMAZING! What are its dimensions? It looks HUGE! I love the proportions of the size of the melee in the halo and the size of the AVC center stone. I think subtle halos are so pretty and that one really enhances your SIL's AVC. GOG did a great job, what a gorgeous ring!!

-I'm not sure what the melee sizes are. I'd like to know too because mine looks much bigger. I'm sorry I haven't had time for new pictures but soon but till then some ipad photos.

Thank you...GOG was amazing to work with. The cads didn't look very good so they sent me a hand drawn sketch which was much better. Call me old fashioned but I love hand drawn sketches to CADs any day.

I was lucky my SIL gave me complete freedom picking the stone and design. I'm so happy she loves it!

Thank you everyone on PS for the compliments....everything I know about diamonds rings I learnt here. PSers have discriminating taste and very high standards.
