Hello folks. Here are a few snaps of a 2ct O color AVC in a semi-bezel Krikawa tri-gold mokume cathedral setting. Basic structure is 14K red gold (mokume is an inlaid strip to allow for cathedral-building antics). Unlike Haven's O-P colored beauty this O has a tangibly yellow flavor to it that melds quite nicely with the strongish red. I thought I'd post these to help balance the serious dearth of owner-taken Krikawa pics anywhere on the web. :) Stone specs: 2.11ct O SI1 7.58 x 7.45 x 5.03mm:

Oh, wow - amazing!! Do you have a band to go with it?

Oh WOW!! How cool, I love it! So unique :appl:

And there's another stunner in Aeolianarpa's enviable collection

Wowza!!!

There is something so sexy cool about that ring - the juxtaposition of old, i.e., the antiqueyness of an AVC and the use mokume gane pattern like the patterns of swords forged ages ago, and new, i.e., the modern half bezel. Awesome!!!

Fascinating and LOVELY!

WOW. That is just a singular and frankly arresting combo. I think it looks phenomenal. What an amazing ring... unique, bold, classy and really sleek and sexy too!

It is an amazing ring - what a great pairing of that stone with that ring.

It is very unique and classy - I really like it!! That bezel edge sits that diamond off to a T!

What a pretty ring. I love the colors of the setting and I bet the O color looks darn good with it.

Wow, I love it!!

Another Wow! Really, really pretty! Looks like the stone has some fluor too? Very cool!

That is one amazing ring! :appl:

OoOooO...that is NICE!!!

WOW!!!! It's stunning!

Gorgeous!!

Amazing and really nice shots too. What camera you using?

Thats just awesome!

I am sooooo wanting an AVC!

WOW!!!

That is stunning! What a beautiful and unique piece.

I. am. stunned.
Seriously, I can't say how much I LOVE this ring.

Thank you folks for the lovely comments! I'm kind-of shocked that its best aspects are apparent in photos -- the gentle fireball AVC action is in sharp focus against the smooth flat mokume. It's larger but still sotto voce because of the warm tint; it's another case of hypnosis by AVC for me. :)

Centralsquare, we're debating the wedding-band topic (after an entire five minutes of ownership!). If done it'll probably be a matching plain mokume band at 3mm.

Yssie, this is an upgrade for the 1.16 J SI1 I had in a VC setting. After the FLY radiant the idea of a tinted AVC was irresistibly attractive! :naughty:

Pintobean & Gypsy, totally agree with you both. It's polar oppositional attraction, fortuitous if you can get away with it. :P

Tyty, I think the sky created that fluor-y look maybe? The hall of beautifully proportioned mirrors comprising the AVC seem to give AGSL's grading a run for the money outside anyway! ;)

Jonathan, I used the Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 -- not that it takes any great equipment or skill to bring the beauty out of these stones. :)

MTG, I think our jewelry tastes might hum around the same frequencies and regions. ;)

Okay, thank you all folks. I'll just post a couple of pics of the much referred to but so far invisible cathedral:

Just gorgeous - I love mokume and this is so striking with the AVC.

Oh wow! This is a very stunning, cool ring.

Thanks for posting your ring. It is absolutely exquisite and so different from most of the rings we see on Pricescope. I love it!

Stunning!

Oh! That's quite an upsize!

Do you have plans for the VC setting? It was beautiful ::)

I wish you could have seen my eyes bug-- AMAZING!

Love that stone!

Eek! It's amazing. My eyes are bugging out too!

Amazing stone and setting!!!

Enjoy!

Cachette :))
