I have a pair of baby bezels but they are .12 carats each. 14k white gold. Estimated h/I si1 (eye clean) Just had them rhodium plated. Definitely under your budget. If you are interested you could always get the backs changed to screwbacks. Let me know if you have more questions or if you want more pictures.
Ouch... I also learned the hard way that I'm allergic to nickel but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as what happened to your daughter. Sorry to hear about that. Thanks! Lots of wg has nickel in it. She had her ears pierced once before and was so allergic to the nickel that her lobes ripped almost all the way through in about a week. It was a disaster. I may have to get diamonds set in surgical steel, lol!

Not to intrude upon @ceg thread, but I am interested in the stud earrings you have shown here. Are the earrings still available?I have a pair of baby bezels but they are .12 carats each. 14k white gold. Estimated h/I si1 (eye clean) Just had them rhodium plated. Definitely under your budget. Erikasdelights on Etsy. The shipping costs are ouch so it’s best to buy a few items to make it worth it. Her store I found has the best range and best prices. And the 10% GST now applies to any OS purchase and off Etsy (as I found out).Sorry to thread jack... @Bron357 can I ask you where did you purchase the snap tite settings? I’m in Australia too and would love to make myself a pair of coloured stone studs.

They are called Snap Tite and you basically firmly press the claws over the gem (table side down) and you’re done.
There are also pre notched setting but you need jewellery pliers to “bend over” the prongs.
The address you listed on loupetroop isn't a working email address. For sure! I can put my information on loupe troop if you wanted to email me about it!
I find kids lose studs all the time. Plus, they can get caught and tear the earlobe. I like this style and wear them myself when outdoors. The "hoop" is a hollow tube that the "wire" fits into. There is no lock mechanism, so if it catches on something, they pull out without tearing the ear. They are very light and easy to wear.If she plan on keeping them in all the time, and your daughter sleeps on her side, I've found that studs rarely stay in kids ears past the required healing time. I second @rockysalamander on the huggie hoop idea, as it is far more comfortable . Like this
Awww, that's what I had as a kid! Ah, the nostalgia...I find kids lose studs all the time. Plus, they can get caught and tear the earlobe. I like this style and wear them myself when outdoors.
