Not anything earth shattering - but we were out at a festival in the area walking around looking at all the booths (mostly jewelry/clothing/knick knacky sort of stuff). I was trying to find a necklace to go with a new dress I am planning to wear to a wedding later this month - so lots of stops to the jewelry booths.

J is looking around trying to help me find something - he actually managed to pick out some really cute pieces (not the right colors - but still nice looking). And then he randomly turns to me and says "So what ring size do you wear?"
He kind of got an embarassed look on his face - added to the fact that despite looking at about 10 booths by that point we hadn''t looked at a single ring (they were just the cheapy silver rings) -- I knew it wasn''t just a random question. He''s always been pretty big on the romantic surprises so I think he may be actually starting to plan!!!!

So I was pretty giddy the rest of the day - the little fishing questions (and even the "help" in searching for a necklace) may have been his attempt to figure out what style of ring I like -- which means I may not get to help pick out the ring. Which wouldn''t be the end of the world - but after being on PS for so long it is very difficult to think I may not get to have any real input on it in the end.

I think I may have to do some "fishing" questions on my own - I know if he has a surprise in the works I won''t get any straight answers out of him!!!

YEA! That is so cool! The ring size question is definitely a give away! Why on earth would he need to know that if he WEREN''T thinking of a ring? It''s not like knowing your t-shirt size. Of course, if you do want to be involved, be sure to tell him soon! He may not get it, but if it''s important to you, speak up! My guy was completely confused by that request, and it took him a while to accept it, but eventually he realized that it was a good idea and he''s all for it now.

Thats cool! I agree with sumbride-that definitely sounds very promising
