....with no ring
. But really, it''s ok considering my BF warned me not to get my hopes up because he had no plans to propose in spite of being in the most romantic city in the world (Paris)!!!!
I have been away for 3.5 weeks and in slight PS withdrawal, so it''s crazy to return to the forum and find out that so many LIWs are engaged!!!!!!!
We had an aMAzing vacation though and we managed to whilrwind through many cities including: Paris, Bordeaux, the Pyrenees, Lisbon, Lagos, Seville, Madrid (my favourite!) and Barcelona. Our trip was beautiful, awe-inspiring, exciting, adventurous, tiring and indulgent. We managed to discuss marriage and babies many times throughout the trip, especially during our last week where we stayed in a villa outside of Barcelona for a friend''s wedding and we were pretty much the couple who had clocked in the most time excluding the bride and groom''s parents and including the bride and groom themselves (we will be celebrating 4 years in a few weeks)! We didn''t even bother trying to catch the bouquet or garter (I''m not competitive at all and he was surrounded by rowdy South Africans) but at the end of the night we had a sweet conversation about our future wedding details and baby names. I also managed to get him to agree to start looking at rings together upon our return home but promised not to nag him too much.
Anyway, I just wanted to congratulate all the new BIWs and now I will return to catching up on the ridiculous amount of posts that have accumulated in the past 3.5 weeks!
