When approached about the song list, the young man they sent was trying to be helpful, but reported that 1) he was not given the song list and 2) he didn''t have any of the requested CDs to even pull the music from.
Did people dance?
Like they had a choice?
Yes, they did, but we did not get the songs we had agreed upon.
The contract lists "Special Terms" (which verbally was the song list, but in writing is written as "Variety").
You''d think that after several phone calls...going over all the songs, etc. that this "sort of thing" wouldn''t happen, but it did...so if you''re going to go through the expense of a DJ, then make sure they''ve got the music you''ve specified BEFORE the event...don''t take their word for it...go back and make them show you the CDs.
Because not only is it your $$$, but it is your special event.
