Hi All,
At the advice of a few members on the "someone buy this CS" thread, I wanted to start a "bargain finds" thread. I thought starting with a $600 USD limit would be reasonable, but happy to change to another number if others prefer!

$600 is probably a good number IMO

I would love to see a thread that is complete rings under $500.....!

Since I started the thread I feel like I should be the first one to post some examples:

For those who don't want to click the link, here's a pic. 2.80Ct rhodolite for $115. Might be darker in person, but looks pretty good!

Rubellite tourmaline, 2.17 for $430.

And some awesome stuff from Jeff Davies:

I have lots of bargain rings, mostly from Ebay.
The most expensive ring in this photo below was $149.

This Burmese (according to my jeweler) ruby in rose gold was under $50.
I'm still scratching my head as to why it was priced so low.......

Here’s a few of mine.

I love all those rings! Do you, by any chance, like blue?

Great idea for a topic! Most of my eternity rings cost less than $600 including setting costs. I will post a picture of newest one, a Paraiba/demantoid piece in rose gold after I pick it up from the P.O. tomorrow.

I love demantoid so I can’t wait to see this!

This garnet & setting from Kosnar Gems was just a smidge over $200.

This garnet from Westview Gems was well under $600 but not the setting!

This chrysoberyl from Barry. It is away being set by Patrick Irla & I should get in back in the next two weeks.

This is my entire collection (poor photo) & each gem is well under $600 except second row, second from left. That tsavorite was a wee bit over $600 & one of my favorites! Right now in my financial life it seems my comfort range is approximately $200-$450 for a gem. Most of these are on the lower end of that range.

Oops for got this one because I just packaged it up to be sent to Sam Woehrmann to start a ring stack! It is a sunstone from Pebble Sprout.

I’d love this and her lapis ring she posted! But my funds are allocated somewhere else for now! I bought a Barry pink tourmaline from her and she was so awesome to purchase from!

Sunstones were my first love and still my favorite. That's a super one!!

I love this thread
Here is my recent eBay find: Gabriel & Co setting with a bright blue topaz. Good size (9 x 7 mm per the seller), cut could be better but it’s still quite lively.

i love that  can't wait to see what you do with it!

Ok guys here is my new eternity ring from Yvonne:) The setting was $385 and the stones were around $200 :) The stones are demantoid and Paraiba. I'm not the best photographer, so be assured, the ring is much prettier and sparklier in person!

When I looked at this thread again I think a few of us made the mistake that this was for sharing our purchases below $600, kind of like the rings below $1250 thread.... was this intended for gems available for purchase $600 & below similar to the somebody has to buy this thread? If so I apologize for the misunderstanding!

I think either or is okay. It is great to see what other members have acquired for that price for comparison to other CS purchases, and helpful to to list wonderful CS opportunities. The reason I love the members of this forum is that they are extremely laid back and all about color in color gemstones.

Hivona, the error might be mine, I thought it was for either gems or entire pieces for under $600. Very sorry if I misunderstood!

Thanks for clarifying, lovedogs!
