Bargain unheated untreated Sri Lanka sapphires selling for Bron.

Long rectangular tray, first photo in a light box so the colour is amped up and similar to very very strong shop lighting. Next photo is in natural lighting outside in the shade and is a more accurate example of colour. The best and most accurate example for colour is outside in sunlight video of the stones link;

Sapphires in light box.JPG Sapphires outside in Shade.JPG

Stones are a royal to dark blue in colour, native cuts. From left to right;
Stone 1. .58 carats 5.07 x 4.51 x 3.32 $175.00 + $25.00 US shipping.
Stone 2. .45 carats 5.08 x 4.26 x 2.56 $150.00 + $25.00 US shipping.
Stone 3. .62 carats 5.44 x 3.90 x 3.68 $160.00 + $25.00 US shipping.
Stone 4. .38 carats 4,81 x 3.86 x 2.26 $145 + $25.00 shipping.

2 x larger sapphires in round container;
Left one has a window right one has a smaller window a very dark royal blue with brighter flashes under really strong lighting. Both have colour zoning and are native cut. Could make a pair for earrings if bezelled or able to hide slight size difference. First photo in a light box replicates really strong shop lighting the second photo is in filtered outdoor lighting.

Stone 1 (left) 1.45 carats 7.28 x 5.71 x 4.40 $160 + $25.00 US shipping
Stone 2 (right) 1.35 carats 7.03 x 5.50 x 4.41 $160 + $25.00 US shipping.

O.K no problem my direct email is at the bottom of the LT listing as sometimes it goes haywire and I don't get the messages.

I may potentially be interested in the pair of larger sapphires but they look very dark.

Would it be possible to get more pics please?

(I'd set them into halo's for stud earrings).

Bargain stones! I hope they find good homes

They are fairly dark but Bron has a really really stunning pair of large we think untreated Sri Lanka stones that are a stunning blue currently at a lab, that she wants to sell that will be more the quality you are after, they will not be cheap stones. The stones in this listing are the bargain bin stones so to speak. I can email you photos of the nicer ones if you like or pass your details on to Bron.

That'd be great, thank you. Either would be fine.

They are going into the lab for assessment.
Oops the 2nd photo has a bit of chocolate on one of them. Nothing fancy here, not even clean gems - how embarrassing.

@Bron357, those are gorgeous!:love:

What colour would you call these? Cornflower or royal blue? Are they dark/ maybe too dark for setting into studs with diamond halo's?

What are their exact measurements please? Are there windows? Is the colour saturated? What condition are they in? And do I see a touch of violet/ purple?

How do I get in touch with you?

These would be Royal Blue. The colour is intense, they are reasonably deep toned. My photos are just an iPhone with just normal type light so they do look much better in person.
They are currently with Doug (Bespoke Gems), I was going to get them polished (couple of wee nibbles) so I don’t have their exact measurement but I think 9.2 and 9.1 - 2.97 for one 2.94 the other.
They don’t have windows being a Round Brillant cut but one is a slightly different cut with a very small cutlet. This is only visible using a Loupe.
Personally, because these are big ones, I was going to set them in a diamond halo but as a drop. My plan was to make them so I could “thread” them onto the post of any of my studs for maximum versatility. But these days I rarely wear earrings and so I’d rather spend the money on a bracelet or ring.
I’ll put up a listing on Loupe Troop with my contact details.

@Bron357, excellent! Thank you. Look forward to speaking with you on LT.

They are probably closer to royal (but the nice royal not the too dark royal) on the big pair. Bron also has these, they are more of a mid blue not a perfect match for size or colour, but you could hide that in earrings, mostly likely Sri Lanka origin, native cuts with windows from the native cutting but even colours 2.7 and 2.6 carats;
