Basket or No Basket Poll

I'm getting a Toi et Moi made and I'm curious as to whether or not you prefer the basket or no basket design. Excuse the armature photoshop hack job for the no basket option.

I love a basket. It’s feels so much more secure to me, especially if the stones are larger.

My designer just said he won't make a ring without a basket anyway, so no decision to be made

If you really want it, no basket can be done.

My Engagement Ring doesn't have the rail. The shank comes up high on the sides and acts like a low rail. There was a 3 stone and 5 stone and split shank design for my ring.

I haven't had any issues, except for the time I knocked it really hard against a metal filing cabinet. The jeweler was surprised I could feel the stone was loose since he needed a loupe to see it. I get the setting inspected every 6 months.
