I won't go into a lot of long boring commentary, because its all about pictures right? Anyway the stone was purchased 4 years ago from Swala Gemtraders as my 10 year anniversary stone. Life and health got in the way for both of us, so it was put on the back burner until last December. I contacted a few custom ring makers but decided to go with BE to set the stone after seeing really great examples of their work here. Looked through what they had on the website and fell in love with Doris from the Opulent Collection.
Mark is fantastic to work with, his whole team are very professional and I will be using them again in the future for other projects. I'm pretty hands off when it comes to this stuff, and I liked how we worked together. He's not pushy, lets you decide how to proceed. I also got a lot for my money and that makes me very happy. Not to mention even after louping the hell out of my stone, not a scratch . Being we're roughly in the same region (I'm in Massachusetts, he's in New York) we both pretty much had enough with all this crazy lil thing called snow. Where the hell is spring anyway?
Deets on the stone Per AGL:
2.34ct Mozambique (non cuprian) Tourmaline
8.15x8.09mm
Blue-Green
Treatments: None
Deets on the setting:
18K White gold
22 ideal french cut square diamonds VS/ F/G .90cts
26 Single cut diamonds VS F/G .30cts
Shank size 2mm
ring size 8.5 *yes I'm a giant...lol*
Anyway here's a few pics, enjoy
