BF Trying to Save Money

The BF mentioned today that he''s trying to save some money by mentioning that he wanted to cook something inexpensive that we can eat off of for a few days. He''s been trying to not go out/buy stuff lately though I''ve noticed. That and he''s been cooking stuff that will last a few days/is cheaper. I wonder what for???? Hmmmm.. Probably not for me since I still am jobless and he told me I need to have a job first but you never know! Anyone else notice things like this?

Since you''re living together and you don''t have a job, maybe he''s just trying to save a little because he''s supporting you both? I wouldn''t read too much into it at this point. Get that job and then see

That''s great that your boyfriend is saving money. I hope that it''s for a ring, that would be so exciting. I''m kinda in the same situation with no job and waiting for the SO to save up for a ring to propose. However, in my situation, my boyfriend isn''t saving for anything yet, and it''s kinda getting on my nerves since we''ve discussed marriage for the past ten months and he did say that it would happen within the next six months, but I''m starting to doubt that. I hope your wait won''t be long and that this is a sign of good things to come.

I still think he''s saving up for some kind of toy like a new IPhone. He already has an IPhone but he always has to have the newest technology and he''s already mentioned that he is going to get one of the new ones and give me his original. My contract is up in April, so I might as well get my own brand new one with GPS that I know wasn''t treated badly . I''m actually suprised he hasn''t bought one of the new ones yet. They''ve been out for a while now. I can only hope he''s saving up for something else though.
