Hi!
Does anyone own the Kyla ring by Brian Gavin? Can you speak to how comfortable it is?
I emailed BGD about whether they could make the Kyla ring in 14k rose gold. (It’s the eternity band with nine .06 and eighteen .035 diamonds in a 1-2-1-2-1-2 pattern.) They said yes but quoted me a price of $2475 for a size 5.25 ring. On their website it currently has the 18k gold version selling for $2350 (up to size 6). When I asked about the price difference they said that they are in the process of updating their prices and that the 18k Kyla would be $2500. Has anyone had this happen before? I have seen a lot of positive reviews of BGD here so I just wanted to check because I’m not a very experienced buyer.
I was leaning toward buying my wedding band from them because of the positive reviews for their melee sized diamonds. Are there vendors other than WhiteFlash or BGD where people have generally been impressed with their smaller sized diamonds for wedding bands?
