Guys, please, please help me empty out my jewelry box. There are so many stones which will never be set because the queue is so long at this point!! I made a LT listing -- https://loupetroop.com/listings/loo...net-spinel-aquamarine-chrysoberyl-dot-dot-dot -- but I have special prices for PS members, 20% (or, heck, try me) off what they're listed at. If you are a really nice person who really wants a stone, I seriously want these out of my gem box and into someone else's life where they will spark joy!
These are emphatically not glamour shots; I'm happy -- thrilled!! -- to take more photos if you see something you're curious about. Photos taken in natural indoor light with sun streaming through the windows (or direct sun in top photo) around 4pm, so, it's warmish light.
L to R on the big image:
## Light pink tourmaline, 1.63ct, precision-cut with chunky facets (antique-style round), $100 for PS members
## Vietnamese aquamarine, 3.88ct, excellent cut though with some white inclusions that don’t detract from its bright appearance (and, I think, help with tilt window common to low RI stones), $100 for PS members
## Colombian emerald, 2.14ct, light oil only, bright open color with typical inclusions leading to a glowy appearance, $200 for PS members
## Fascinating chrysoberyl, 1.6ct, stunning chartreuse color with silk so it NEVER goes dark in any lighting, $150 for PS members
## Light green tourmaline, 1.32ct, precision step-cut octagon with refreshing light-green color, $100 for PS members
## Orange-pink (with touch of brown) pear spinel, 1.88ct, big face-up because of small window (cut shallow). Fluoresces under UV. $100 for PS members
## Merelani mint garnet, precision cut by Jeff Happeman, internally flawless and “perfectly” mint green, according to the cutter, though showing yellower in my photos. $200 for PS members
## Light blue tourmaline, 1.01ct, measured by my battery-dead calipers at approx. 7x5mm (sorry for lack of precision!). Not tested for copper, but it is BLUE (I’d call it neon!) and with remarkably few inclusions. $350 for PS members
## Raspberry tourmaline, a great match in cut and size for the light blue stone, well saturated color without grey/brown modifiers, $50 for PS members
## Pair of “light tsavorite” emerald-cut garnets, 5.7cttw, 10x5.5mm (battery-dead calipers), an awesome pair for earrings. One has a feather on the side which, per the well-known PSer who sold them to me, should not preclude safe setting. Color is coming out warmer/yellower in my photos than in person. $650 for PS members
