Birthday Bling - A ring with a Tsavorite Garnet 2.53ct 7.57 x 7.57mm by Jeff White

It's gorgeous!!!

Wow! It is in time for Chinese New Year too! Hooray!
It is a beautiful ring! I love how the rose gold works so well with the tsvaorire.
Wishing you all the good green things — life, nature, freshness and vibrant new beginnings.

Thanks everyone for your kind words and wishes.

The bench did a good job and it was a rush as they started their annual CNY holiday yesterday, Friday 24 January 2025!

Can't wait to wear this new ring, first trip out will be on my birthday at a 3-star restaurant in a posh London hotel :lol-2: as the celebratory meal on CNY is a very casual affair with a few friends.

Looking at the ring itself, I should have requested for a thicker bezel so as to reduce the width of the air line/gap. However, that's just nit-picking.

I was admiring the Tsavorite under halogen light in the bathroom, and it pops at me.

So happy that I can keep this stone, which is the first of my significant green stone. A good size Tsavorite was on my old Bling Wish Lists - box ticked.

Wish my mum is still alive to see this ring as I am certain she would love it. :confused2:

She would probably tell me off for spending that much on a Garnet/semi-precious stone too! :lol-2:

What a beautiful beautiful ring! Love the green pop, the pink bezel, and the ribbon-like swirl of diamonds - all of the elements work together and wow!

Happy Happy Birthday! Cheers to many more birthdays!

And thank you for all that you share on PS :)

Happy Birthday indeed! It's beautiful.

Happy Birthday DK! Love your posh meal idea to celebrate LNY too! Take a pic of the food with the ring for us!!!!

I’m also taking Lil Sis out for a posh LNY lunch this week simply because I must find somewhere to wear my $35 House of CB dupes!

Apologies in advance, however, I tend not to take pics of posh as in meals at starred restaurants as I do not believe 2D photos do them justice, sorry!

Besides, I don't like to post them in my FB feed due to negative feedback in the past about spending lots of money on a meal etc... :roll2:

I am no food snob in that I like to eat junk food as much as I like gourmet/fine dining, depending on my mood and occasion, etc. etc...

Hope you have a wonderful birthday celebration and many more to come!

This is just BEAUTIFUL! I love the setting and the stone! I hope your wonderful blingy birthday leads to a wonderful blingy year!

Wow! That was fast!! Instant gratification... just saw this thread and already got to enjoy the finished piece. lol I love what you did with it. Congrats and enjoy!!

I wore the ring for the first time last night for a black tie formal dinner, as a celebration of Chinese/Lunar New Year, as well as for imminent significant birthday.

I was wearing a red top, and love the contrast of red and green - it is probably my favourite colour combination.

DK :kiss2:

Oh me, oh my! I love the undulating waves of the halo, and the air gap between the inner/outer bezels, too. The tsavorite looks so perfect in this ring! Glad you are enjoying it!

Off to the Big Smoke again for a theatre trip to see Oliver! and decided to wear the birthday ring.
Weather is nice, warm and sunny, and I took a pic of the ring in the sun.

Such fun! Have a good time, @dk168. I love the swirls on your ring. They look dynamic, and the tsavorite looks lively and intense.
Glad to hear it is warm .

Thanks!

I originated from HK when it was a British colony, came to UK to study in the late 70s and loved it so much I decided to stay.

Late to the thread, but congrats @dk168 on the birthday and the beautiful tsav ring. You're inspiring me to take out my tsavorites for DH's birthday. :) His favorite color is green.

Ahh, I remember the return and Chris Patten. UK is very charming. I would move myself except for the weather! Looks like you have adapted to it! I am a bit like a lizard--need my place in the sun to be warm.
