Blue flashes

Haven't received this yet, but DanielM's photos got me excited enough to post in anticipation! This is one of Haywood's JXR amethysts in white gold, but the photos don't do justice to the stone, in hand it's a deeper purple with tremendous blue flash, even indoors. Hoping it'll make a nice anniversary present.... can't wait!

You can't just post pics without any stats! I'd bet the JXR ammy is spectacular in person; I go weak every time I see amethysts with blue flash. It is such an under rated stone and makes a lovely anniversary present. Congrats!

Awesome looking finished piece! I'm excited to see your pics when you get it in hand. And for those who were curious, I believe that is about a 13 ct. gem. Very nice the way it turned out!!! For a comparison of pictures, here's a pic of the stone when I had it are here:

What was I thinking?!? It's a 13.19 ct stone according to my scale, but I forgot to record measurements before sending it in... I think around 12mm across, though, here's a pic next to a 9x9mm Asscher for reference.

Love the intensity of that colour amethyst! Wow! And the setting - the detail they put in, is always so beautiful. I am really thrilled with my DanielM pieces, I'm sure you will be too! can't wait to see some neck shots when you get it
