#JOTW Blue - Green Aquamarine Dream

I thought I’d share my newest little lovely since I wouldn’t have found it without PS! A few months ago @Rfisher and @Hounddog posted a 10ct unheated aquamarine from Ivy and Rose. I had to have it! I have several aquamarines but none quite this shade and it’s the perfect size to wear on the regular. No special occasion necessary.

Then I was off to find setting inspiration. M.S. Rau had the most gorgeous estate VCA aquamarine ring that reminded me of something Midge Maisel would wear. This is the most perfect VCA inspiration ring:

The aqua in the inspiration ring is giant (like 35ct) and a slightly different shape. I sent it all off to David Klass who played with the scale and shape to make it work for my stone.

I did receive it! It’s gorgeous and heavy. I always forget how heavy platinum feels compared to gold. I wore it today as it kinda, sort of matched the dress I wore to brunch. Please excuse my horrible hand shots, I’m no photographer.
