Blurry table on Brilliant Round when checked at an angle (not sure if glare or smudge)

Hi everyone,

I noticed this recently after our SDE with a macro shot of the engagement ring of my wife. Upon checking, part of the table looks blurry at a specific angle (30 to 45 degrees).

I checked other posts and they suggested cleaning but I took the following pictures right after soaking the ring in a dishwashing liquid with warm water solution.

The ring is an ACA from Whiteflash, with negligible fluoresence based on the AGS certificate. Is this normal for round brilliants or should I be concerned?

Thank you for your feedback!

Could be table glare.
Do you still have the link to the product page that you can post?

I'm unable to see what is disturbing to your eyes. It looks like there is reflection, but I don't see any irregularity. You need to get a photo which has the problem zone highlighted so we know where to look closely.

Hey, thank you for replying. Here's the link:

It does seem that there's a kind of glare when looked at an angle based on the videos.

Hey, thank you for taking the time to check. Here's an updated image of the part that I am unsure of.

I mostly remembered the sparkle video of whiteflash so I was taken aback when I was admiring the ring and saw the foggy table. Upon double checking the brilliance video, it also shows this behavior so it might just be table glare. However, I am no expert and wanted to double check.

It is a glare.
Very normal appearance in that particular lighting condition (dark room, strong spot light)

In fact, thr diamind is very clear and transparent

Definitely glare. You can see that sometimes in the videos of diamonds too. No worries!

Thank you for clarifying! Now I can rest my worries.

Noob question - what is SDE?

Hey. Sorry, it's same day edit, a term used by our videographer for the video shown during the wedding reception.

Thank you for replying! Whew. I can rest my worries. It's my first diamond purchase and I don't know much about how they should look.

Great choice going with an ACA for your first diamond...this is stunningly perfect!

Thank you! It certainly was a great choice! Plus the service of whiteflash is top notch!
