Boogie Woogie in Blue - by David Klass

[Acinom]

ah, a swinging combination of a
blue Topaz, platinum and single
cut diamonds

Thanks to Mochiko and Ricezo I discovered
a fabulous large piece of a natural top
colored unheated blue topaz from Doug
Menadue (Bespoke Gems). I fell in love
immediately and asked Doug to cut an
Asscher style piece for me.

for Lovinggems, DK, Pyramid, Mochiko and

I then contacted David Klass to do his magic!
I envisioned a simple setting with single cut
bright cut set diamonds in the shank.
And David made the stone swing!!! A true
Boogie Woogie in Blue. I love the beautiful
lines and proportions of his work.

Again, it was a super smooth process working
with David. Amazing customer service as
always. Also, I am again amazed by the
richness of his work at such affodable prices.

The day has just started here in 'my' part of the world and I enjoyed reading

elle: I am patiently waiting for DK, Mochiko and Lovinggems to set their Topazes. Pyramid already has her 2 ovals set in stunning rings and I cannot wait to see her handshots when she receives them.

JDDN, bbziggy: the blue is indeed so mesmerizing and pretty. So glad I could have a stone cut. A huge thank you to Mochiko who first requested to have a stone cut and Ricezo who posted the beautiful rough.

luv2sparkle: I owe my PS collection to the PS community here. Without PS I would not have discovered all these great cutters and gem vendors and jewelers like David Klass. Now I will enjoy what I already have: I am sooo banned from buying gemstones and having them set

Catmom, mrs Blop, lookinginagain, Lorrissey, Lovinggems, DK, picante : David did an amazing job! The stone is quite deep, but he did magic on the proportions of the setting, so it looks very elegant.

MissGotRocks: I have not compared this stone to my blue zircon and blue Aqua. All middle blues, but each with a different cut and character

Vampira: no multiple rings for me on one hand . But I love picking a different ring every other day or so to match my mood, the weather, the season, a special occassion etc.

Stone Hunter: will make some group shots in a couple of days. We will be having quite dark and rainy weather in the next couple of days

The setting is solid platinum weighing 9.3 grams, set with .55cts of G color VS clarity single cut diamonds, size 6.

Woo hoo! Another beauty to add to your amazing collection! Looks beautiful on you as usual. I really like how this one photographs in some of your pics. Looks as if the stone just seems to magically float over the shank because the claw prongs blend in with the topaz. I can't wait for the family group pics. Can I request your mirror pics please?
