Bought a chameleon diamond!

So, I bought a chameleon diamond on an impulse so I don't yet have a plan for it. I need your advice! I fell in love with the color (similar to my eyes) and, of course, the shape/cut (peep the username). It has more inclusions and is less symmetrical than I usually go for, but I am excited to see it in person and play with it. It should be here in a few days, but until then I grabbed a photo below from the vendor site (not mine), a link to the video from the vendor site, and a link to the GIA certificate.

I'm having a hard time finding inspiration for settings for chameleon diamonds (whether ring or something else like a pendant). What are your suggestions as far as metal to play up the color? If a ring, solitaire or side stones/halo? Let me know your thoughts/opinions!

Very white diamond Baguettes ?
Being green id put in yellow gold
but i love yellow gold

Mmmmm, I really really like it!!!
So cool, the asscher cut and mysterious color.

It's nice they left a natural on it so GIA could verify the color is from nature, not treatment in a lab.
The diamond's original surface, in the natural, is where they verify that.

Congrats. I always wanted to have a chameleon in my collection. I think it might even look good in an art deco style halo setting with bright white stones/mixed metals.

Lovely and cool stone. I’d want a ring so I could look at it as it changes and plays with light. Hard to see a pendant whilst it’s being worn.

From the ones I've seen with my eyes green usually gets more intense with rose gold. But it's always best to see it in hand with different gold colors so your eyes get to choose what they find the most pleasing.

Love it!

Sidebar- I believe that people still haven't figured out how to replicate the chameleon phenomenon. Still good for future piece of mind though.

Ooooh how about a gold bezel?

3 stone?

I also love chameleon with vivid orange yellow. This combo makes my heart sing, but alas I've never found a matching stone.20131226_111204.jpg

I would definitely put it in a ring and use yellow or rose. I think that would be easier to figure out once you see it. I'd be inclined to do something flush set in a band, but that's because I like that style for smaller stones with color and I'm not really a halo person.
Something like this

But, not knowing your style, if you like halos, then yes a halo of white stones would be pretty.

That is a really pretty green for a chameleon. For traditional, maybe Art Deco with baguettes in white gold. If you enjoy a goth vibe, consider blackened gold with some wicked claw prongs.

I agree with this. Rose gold complements grey-green, and makes it look greener.
