Hi ladies!
So - I''ve been so confused about what to get for a wedding band - and realizing that the ring I dream of (my avatar) is not the wedding ring of my dreams
but that''s okay). So I FINALLY to B with me today to look at the LAST store in town that I really wanted to check out. He''s a buyer - not a shopper (WON''T keep looking if he finds something he likes), so I haven''t taken him with me because I knew he''d get the first thing I thought was okay... rather than the one that took my breath away. Well - we get to the store (about 45 minutes from our end of town) and it''s PACKED! I can''t even see in the counters to see what they have there are so many people there, but I wait until they have a salesperson to help us and she brings out some rings. I find one that is very unique - similar to, yet different from my avatar - but B just doesn''t dig it. So I ask her to pull out the matched rings tray. B''s eyes are rolling "since when do you get 2 rings!"... I tell him we just have to look. So we try some on and he stops me... He REALLY likes the set I''m trying. I''ve already seen that EACH ring in the set is right about our budget... so we''re looking at about double. So I ask for some similar, but with less carat weight. She shows us more and we find another set we like... but don''t love. He just keeps going back. He''s sold - so she pulls over a mirror and tells me to not look at my hand, but look at the mirror... WOW! The breath goes out of me and my eyes stop watering. B''s saying "DON''T CRY!"
So we start looking at rings for him, but I keep putting the sets on me, the pretty one, and then the WOWZA one. Finally he says "if it makes you that giddy - then it''s what you need. We can get it." (He is SO my prince!) So then he starts in on "do you want full eternity...if they spin you''ll be messing with them all the time..." (these are a little over 1/2 eternity). I told him we are already double budget, and I don''t mind messing with them a bit. Besides - I''m secretly kind of scared a full eternity would lose stones or something... I''m not exactly a gentle person - and I don''t think about taking them off all the time before I get into hard work. Anyway... without further ado (I know you are all thinking "post the d@mn pic already!) Here is my set (the picture does it no justice... )
