Hello ladies in waiting,

I just wanted to pass along an FYI. Bailey, Banks, and Biddle is going out of business, so everything in the store is pretty deeply discounted, including engagement rings. They have some REALLY sweet deals.

So, if you''re not really picky on a "dream" ring, and your boyfriend is looking for a good deal- take him to the store- soon!

We went today to look at wedding bands. They had a memoire band originally $13,000 cut to $5,000. I also saw a 2ct. Ritani originally $25,000 cut to $10,000.

Insane- go look!

Wow thanks for the tip! I''ve never heard of this store before, do they mostly carry designer stuff or is there some lower-priced stuff too?

BB&B is generally a high, but achivable, end retailer. I loved their store as a kid! to be honest, i am kinda sad they are going out of business. but where i am, they are replacing it with a michael kors store.

Just a heads-up -- some of the brands that BB&B carries will not warranty products bought from their close-out sales. Ritani is one of those brands, and there are probably others. From what I''ve heard, it''s because of how BB&B shorted those companies money in their bankruptcy (but don''t quote me on that!). Just make sure to ask questions before making any big purchases!

I find this interesting. Our BB&B has been having a massive sale for some time now. I keep asking S why......and wondered if they were going under. Guess I know now. It''s sure sad to see so many companies not making it these days.

Good tip! Also be aware that their prices are VERY inflated to begin with. So while their "half off retail" prices may be enticing-they very well may be close to a PS vendor's everyday price. There is a lot of variation in designer piece pricing.
