Hello! I have/had two VCA Sweet bracelets. I lost the first one sadly but luckily it was insured and I have replaced it, however, it fell off last night after having it less than a month. Thankfully I found it at the edge of my bed after an hour long frantic search. I am too afraid to wear it now without some sort of safety clasp but am not sure what options are out there? When I do a google search I find some sterling silver options but looking for White Gold if possible. Any ideas? TIA!

Let's see a photo of the bracelet. There should be options which are suitable for most bracelets, but seeing the piece will be very helpful in weeding out useless suggestions. Using white gold should poses no special problem.

Here you go. I actually have two bracelets I’d like to get safety clasps for the VCA and the white flash by the yard9B8AF672-AA39-4C3C-8098-B4478FE0C688.jpeg

Assuming these are white gold bracelets and clasps, there is nothing inherently wrong with them. You mentions some search and finding silver options, but I don't think these bracelets are at that low level to begin with. You could get a more secure clasp installed. A "sister hook" clasp is far less likely to let go of the jump link on the opposite end. Another option is a bayonet or narrow box catch with a side figure 8 safety clasp. Those would be a nice options with a double clasp, but not likely better than a sister hook if you can find one in white gold. 14kt or 18kt would work equally well.

Most any jewelry repair repair facility could do such a simple job for you. Because of the Name Brand involved, be sure to request return of the original clasps. having this would be highly desirable in case you ever wanted to sell these to another person. Originality is essential to such brands.

I link 2 bracelets together to ask like safety clasps for each other. If you like a stacked look it’s a no cost option!

Thank you! Do you by chance know if any of the online vendors recommended on here do this? Or do Just try a local jeweler?

Beautiful bracelets!!

Please don’t have your branded bracelets altered by anyone else. According to VCAauthenticity is voided the moment any other jeweller works on a piece - even if you have all the original components. And resale value plummets accordingly!

Those lobster clasps should be quite secure on their own. Do you happen to know how they’re opening when they shouldn’t be? Do you find that they misbehave especially often when you’re doing some specific #Thing? I’m wondering if both might just be faulty, unlikely as that sounds.

In terms of safety clasps - I like @lissyflo’s idea of using each bracelet as the safety for the other. Unobtrusive and doesn’t involve any more expense. But if you’d like independent safety clasps I’d start by getting WF to quote them. The two bracelets have different chains, and I think matching those chains may be a bit of a PITA (if matching chains is important to you) - a vendor like WF might have decent matches on hand already!

Thank you, I dont wear them on the same arm so attaching them to one another is not an option. I did contact my SA at VCA to see if there was something they could add but have not heard back yet.
