Bracelet Widths....Need Advice

Hi All,

Have been busy trying to put my "One Day List" together. Why not Christmas list? Well...my husband needs a lot of push when it comes to picking anything on his own for me so if I came up with a general list, then he can draw on it when he needs to.

Of course, I can also EDIT when I need to & ADD as well.

Not sure if he really appreciated that I can edit/add anytime I wanted. LOL Silly man, thought that the list would get shorter as time went on, but I didnt want to give him a stroke, will just get longer. LOL Of course, I have a lot of stuff other than jewelery on it so I''m trying to be fair.

Was on the New York Findings website (a lot of retailers & some PS vendors use this company) (newyorkfindings.com/findings then click bracelets on the right hand bar menu). I''m looking at the bamboo bezel style on either page 5 or 6 (either 5 stone or 14 stone) & the widths range from 2.75 to 3mm for the stone size I''m looking at. Or on page 13, the bottom bezel (pictured in 2 tone or yellow) has .04 melee at 2.25mm wide. There''s also a bamboo style bangle with .08 melee at 2.8mm wide on page 79 (1st one in middle) I can''t wrap my head around how wide or thin they are, even comparing the width to a wedding band.

Those that wear a bangle, are you happy with how it fits? I''m not sure if the bamboo one sits oval or round, and again, not sure if that makes a difference.

Does anyone have pics on the wrist that might show how wide or thin these might be? I''ve scoured the bracelet website, great for eyecandy, but not so great for describing the details of the bracelets.

I wear a standard 7" bracelet size.

Here is a pic I found on Anjolee.com website with the stones all the way around. I would think the Bangle version would look the same too. The product # is the same # as on the NY Findings website. LOL

Here''s the 5 stone version. If I was sure it didnt spin, I would look at the 5 stone one for sure, have the same look but my husband can stretch his dollars further & add onto my gift. LOL I''m really not this selfish in real life, really I''m not. LOL

Does anyone have experience with this one?

I just thought of something...what if the mm size I''m reading is the height off the wrist? Would make more sense to advertise width of the peice wouldnt it? Does anyone know? Why I ask cause I was surfing around & found reference to bracelets with a 2-3mm **height** instead of width. Strange way to advertise I think. Anyway, got me thinking maybe NY Findings does it the same way.

I should just ask a vendor. LOL
