Woohoo! My ER has arrived. I have very small hands, as you will see, so didn’t want a stone that was too big.

I’ve done a quick video of the unboxing, which I hope reassures those who worry about ordering online and from abroad (as I did until I found PriceScope).

Unfortunately the lighting really didn’t capture the sparkle and brilliance. I will try and get some better shots.

 
That was fun to watch. The ring looks amazing even from a distance. Congratulations.

I love the presentation. It was exciting he used Fedexpress, UPS and post office . The ring itself is beautiful. Enjoy it and please more photos

As a fellow Brit - could you possibly tell me what duty / taxes / other fees you had to pay (just as in percentages!) and how this was handled?

Thank you. The setting is Hannah, and the pavés are channel set, so nice and smooth and won’t catch.

Thank you. Yes, my camera (with broken lens to spoil things) just couldn’t capture how beautiful it really is.

The customs value was $7801. It was something like 2.5% duty and 20% VAT, plus a processing charge of £31.95, but came out as slightly less than I was expecting.

This was a lot of fun to watch and your ring is so beautiful! I appreciate your restraint and showing us everything that was included 1st, I would have ripped into that box and grabbed the ring 1st! :lol:

Thank you! It's really helpful to know it was straightforward and there weren't a load of unexpected charges.

I hear you on the small hands. I'm a G! (US 3.5) Nothing ever fits off the shelf.
