Good evening, all.

I was hoping for a few home pictures of the Brian Gavin Tiffany style 6 prong head. I was specifically hoping for the fishtail version, if possible. I have searched up and down the forums looking and have only found very few, I don't think any with the fishtail pave. Only the solitaire. I wanted to be sure that this head style will not overpower a 1ct stone and be too much. Since I get see it in person I'm hoping a few members have this setting and can chime in.

Thank you in advanced and Pricscope has been great with information/members/and photos for my search for the perfect E-ring!

Thanks again!

creepin - I have the BGD tapered Tiffany setting - no pave though. Its photo is in my avatar and in this thread:

Scroll down for a lot of photos of the solitaire.

I LOVE this setting. I've had a bunch of different setting in my time, but this is my favorite. It's elegant and understated and so easy to wear. I grab this ring when I'm getting dressed up to go out - but also when hanging around in jeans. It seems to go with everything.

My stone is 2.15ct, but I was amazed how teeny tiny the prongs were. For a 1ct stone, I think the tapered Tiffany style would be even better, as the taper really plays up the center stone.

I hope this helps.

Just came back to add - with your stone, I'd do the tapered Tiffany, then go with a fishtail setting wedding band. A nice balance of bling, and should suit the proportions of your stone well.

Thank you for the link, mrs-blop! It is really a great help! I am so back and forth between the fishtail pave, tapered 6 prong and the half round six prong.

This might be a silly question, but the quality on your setting is top-notch?

Creepin - it's absolutely top quality. You wouldn't think there could be so much difference between simple solitaire settings, but I've had a few at this point in time, and this is probably the only one that didn't look cheap. This one looks classy. VERY classy! I love e-rings with plain shanks paired with diamond wedding bands Personally, I think it's the perfect combination. A 2.5mm French pave wedding ring would be perfect. In fact - I've been planning to get one myself!

Creepin - go to the 'eye candy' thread at the top of the 'show me the bling' forum page. go to the last page of that thread (pg 289, I believe), and scroll almost to the bottom. Take a look at Daisyoz's ring set - it has a tapered 6 prong solitaire next to a pave set wedding ring. It looks spectacular!!

Thank you!

I do really like that set. I like the plain solitaire with Pave band a lot. It's such a hard decision!

Hi all - also looking for real life photos of the 6 prong fishtail pace if anything?
