Hello, everyone!!!!

So, my friend (I''m her MOH) is getting married in January and her hubby to be and I have been talking about his gift to her the night before their wedding. Traditionally, it would be jewlery for her wedding day. However, he does not want to get her any jewelry (that''s another story). Does anyone have any other ideas?

Let me give a litttle background. They will be moving to Costa Rica shortly after the wedding and are trying to get rid of their ''stuff''. They don''t want to travel with a lot so that narrows trickets and gadgets.

Does anyone have any ideas of something sweet and sentimental?

Thanks!!

does she need anything for the wedding day, like toasting flutes or a cake server set? i know it''s more stuff, but at least it would be something useful for the wedding day.

how about a spa day or other gift certificate to allow for a future extravagance of her choice, perhaps somewhere nearby where they are moving?
i know it''s not that romantic but he could doctor up with a certificate of his own, or even a lovely handwritten loveletter to accompany it, with his thoughts and wishes for their new life together.
with computers these days he could even make a very pretty certificate himself that she could "cash in" at sometime after they are settled down.
my fiance did this for me one valentines day- a "coupon" for an evening out of my choice, with a sweet handwritten letter to me. i treasure that.

just a thought,

Both of these ideas are great! Thanks! She does need stuff for the wedding... and she loves the spa. Thanks!

He could get her name tatooed somewhere

Hmm....since they are going to Costa Rica...maybe a small but sentimental momento of their life here? Maybe a creative photo/poem about how their lives have been so wonderful thus far and how he is so excited to go embark on the next part of his life with her and to their new home? The photo could be something "American" (if they are american that is)...like maybe a photo of them at a baseball game or something.
