I just thought that I might share my opinion about my preferred browser.

I currently use:
Mozilla Firebird
http://www.mozilla.com

I do not see popups ever anymore... ever!!!

Mozilla rocks.
Both the full version and firebird.
I use both.
It really really annoys me when I have to use IE to view a site.
Annoys me even more if im in linux and have to min. the vmware window to fire up IE. Or fire up vmware to load windows depending on what computer Im on.

IE tricked out with the google search bar with popup blocker over junkbstr proxy server isnt too bad I hardly ever see adds or popups.
My junkbstr blocklist is just under 25k.
Is close but mozilla is a lot easier to do the same thing with.

Both Google and Alexa toolbars for IE kill popups perfectly

opera is kewl but the free version shows its own adds.
Its not worth buying compared to the free alternatives in my opinion.
Firebird is almost as fast.

Proxomitron is ok but last I looked wasn’t under active development anymore.
I have used junkbstr as a transparent proxy on a corporate firewall under linux for a client in the 150 computer range and never had any problems with it.
It isn’t easy to set up but works great.

I second running addaware when someone calls in with a browser related problem it is the first thing I tell them to get and run.
Most of the time it fixes the problem.

I curious about what you do in the IT field?
I work for a small consulting firm doing everything from programming to admin work on linux and windows networks from soho to 300+ computers to 30-40 location vpn networks.

I have a problem with firebird and this site.

When using firebird. If I click on one of the smilies down below. My entire form that I am filling out here will be wiped clean.

Is there a fix for this?

I found some function like clicking on an icon or rich text editor work only on IE...
