Bruce Boone meets pink/brown diamond

Got this a few days ago, but wanted to set up the camera lens attachment for my phone before posting.

Center stone is a .38 SI2 pink/brown stone from Langermans. The lab in Belgium labeld the color "fancy orangy pink". 20210804_121450.jpg

Heres some pics of the stone in a holder before I sent it to Bruce

I wanted a neissing inspired setting (all round and brushed metal), and bruce nailed it. I am enjoying the mixed metal look with my 22k round band:)

Not sure if the pink color comes through accurately in pics, but to my eye it's a perfect mix of pink and brown.

Stone is from argyle according to their appraisal doc, but I am not willing to pay the cost of a GIA origin report right now, so I cant be sure of the origin.

So gorgeous. I LOVE niessing designs!!!! It’s a beautiful rock, and looks so nice in that sleek modern setting. Yum all around!
 
ughh...the last thing i need is to NEED a colored diamond...lol. Love that mauve-y color.

of course! It's the "brushed" metal finish, which is the style I was most drawn to in the neissing designs as well.

Nice! The photos might not do the top view justice but you can for sure see the pretty pink from the side.

I agree! I had the hardest time capturing the actual color of the stone in pictures. Likely a combination of my bright blue phone case and general lack of knowledge about how to properly photograph colored diamonds in natural environments lol

What a beautiful ring this is! I love everything about it! The stone's color is divine and the setting showcases it beautifully, allowing the side of the diamond to show so well! Additionally, this brushed metal finish is perfect! It looks wonderful on your hand! Congrats!!!!
 
This actually made me gasp. It is so simple & fluid & I echo everything @yssie said - it is bad ass & yet super feminine & cool, all rolled into one. And I absolutely love it with the yellow gold band - a truly eye catching combo.

Thank you!!! Yeah, this is definitely my holy grail color. Obviously nowhere near ideal cut (the proportions of it would horrify most people), but to me the color 10000% makes up for it. It's perfect to me, even if it was $$$ for the size!
 
I forgot to post the original listing from Langermans, as it is a million times more accurate in terms of color than my camera can capture. Note that I paid for a report bc I wanted to have one, but it didnt come with one on the listing. The video isnt accurate at all for color due to their lighting set up, but the still pic is literally EXACTLY what I see. Just in case anyone purchases from them (which I recommend bc they are incredibly helpful and honest)
