Hi,

I've been looking around on WF to look a stone for my mom. My budget is $7k for the ACA stone, 0.9 - 1 ct, I or H color, VS clarity prefer (SI is fine if eye clean) . I know this budget and specs won't give me too much choice. What do you think of these one ? Thank you in advance :)

Those are both beautiful, and you can't go wrong with either.

I found a few other options. This one is two color grades higher.

This one is an H.

If you can go up to $6936 wire price, this one gets you over the 1ct mark.

@medial What a nice daughter you are for buying a diamond for your mom!
You can’t go wrong with either of them. The cuts will be top notch so no worries there. Ask them to show you side by side comparisons on a white background to check out the color. You can also ask them which one is lighter. They can tell you if it’s a high or low I color. I prefer the first one because it doesn’t have the twining wisps..but only if the crystal in the first one is truly eye clean. I’m sure the twining wisps are fine in the second one..but I would also ask them. It never hurts to ask questions.

Hello, I'm looking some from JA. Look like their JA H&A cut have lower price than WF ACA overall. What do you think about the above (JA***5096) one ?

On the side note, I think found 2 comparable stones from JA and WF with a hug differences in price. Am I missing anything ? Which one would you choose among those three ?

James allen "true hearts" arent held to as high standards of cut as WF, so that is the biggest factor in terms of price differences.

I'm not a huge fan of the 1st JA option. The second one is much better, although I'd still choose WF for the guaranteed top cut plus lifetime upgrade policy

And to add what lovedogs stated: WF has a zero minimum upgrade program, whereas JA requires at least twice the retail price each time. JA will be much more expensive in the long run if there's an upgrade(s) in mind somewhere down the road.

Hi, thank you. I like the upgrade policy of WF.
I found this stone and look like it has feather near the girdle, would it affect the durability of the diamond? Link and pic attached.

Can you call WF and ask them about it?

I asked and they said no, it shouldn't affect the durability, however, I wanted to hear other opinions as well.

It would not have made the WF ACA line if it had any kind of integrity problem. I have been on Pricescope for 14 years and in all
that time I have never seen an ACA have any kind of durability issue. Full disclosure...I have owned two ACA SI1...of course, no
issue.

If you did have any issue (with an ACA or any brand of diamond), insurance would handle it.

Like tyty333 said, I wouldn't worry about durability on an ACA. Could you cover the feather with a prong?

Got it. I feel better now. Thank you very much for your helps !
