Buying off Loupetroop - new seller

I've bought a couple of items off of LT before with great success and minimal worry. However both times I've bought items, they were from known PS-ers which made me feel more secure (perhaps that's nonsense but it helped). I'm now looking at an item on LT however this is the first time the seller has sold on LT. Is Paypal my only protection if the item doesn't show up in the mail or if the item isn't as described?

PayPal is your best bet and make sure to complete the sale with a credit card, as that will be another layer of protection. Good luck!
