We love it!!! It's exactly like I was envisioning and he is sooooooo over the moon about it. As he said, "This ring is FIERCE!"

One thing to note is that it will be a soft brushed finish, not bright and shiny like the photo; she said the brush finish in the software makes everything look flat and she wanted us to be able to see the texture. Also, the shine makes it look like the tops of the weave are pointy but they're actually rounded and soft to the touch (very important to me... can you imagine trying to have cuddle time and constantly getting scratched? Lol).

First up is the concept sketch I sent Caysie and the others are her CAD renderings. Metals are platinum and 14k rose gold and the width will be 12mm (size 13).

Thank you! This was so fun to do with him. He's not one to "treat himself", so creating something from scratch just for him really tickles him. And the texture is what he's cuckoo over

Thanks . FDH and I went back and forth with different design ideas (ie: me finding/drawing things and then seeing what he thought of them). We were 95% sure we were going to do a hammered pattern when I came across this weave pattern that I loved, and that was that!

That's what I'm most excited about. As I kept searching for ring-spiration (haha), I could not find ANY weave patterns that I liked. When we sent a hammered ring idea to Caysie she mentioned it should be possible because of the texturizing program they used. I then researched that program more (because that's just what I do... I like to know a bit about things that interest me) and found that this weave pattern, which I immediately loved and knew was what I'd been looking for, was a preset on that program! How lucky, right?!!

Us too! He's not letting me see *my* ring in person until he proposes, so I'm toying with not letting him see his ring until the wedding - lol!!

I believe she's using the 90/10ir mix. I'm leaving it in her hands to choose what will be best for the look we're going for.

What a lovely and unique design. I'm really interested to see photos when it's done. The weave pattern could look amazing tweaked into a bracelet too!
