Hi there,

I have a diamond ring that is a bit older and does not have a pavillon angle on the certificate. I read about calculating the pavilion angle. Apparently I'm too stupid for that. My calculator just shows error. Could someone please do the calculation for me:

Total Depth: 62.4
Table size: 55
Crown Angle: 34.0
Pavilion Depth: 43.1

Thank you

The stone is very close to Tolkowsy proportions - around 40,8 pavilion angle. The greater depth indicates a thickish girlde wich has little impact on the diamonds optical and visual performance.

Garry's correct. 40.8 - unless the diamond has a culet, in which case PA becomes slightly steeper.
