IIRC, you got the Sedarabys for your wedding shoes - can you tell me how they fit? I have found a gorgeous pair online that is a half size up from what I typically wear (I understand Manolos run small) and I am tempted to order - but they are only available in that size!!

Also, how comfortable are they, really? My ceremony begins at 14.30 and the reception etc. will last at least until 7 hrs later! I can always put on more comfy shoes for dancing, but these are just a gorgeous pair that I think would really suit my dress.

Thanks in advance!!

Hey I just wanted to chime in here since I bought the same pair for my wedding. I tried on the satin and the leather ones and they fit me true to size. I had been told they run small by one person and most sales people told me they run large so order a half size smaller. I tried the half size smaller and they were too small. My actual size fit perfectly. I believe bee was TTS and MissRocks was TTS as well.... they'll have to confirm that though. I had ordered about four pairs in different sizes and colors before I got my own size in the silver.

As far as comfort goes they are VERY comfortable and will be for an all day wedding event.

Hi Krissie

I find that they run true to size also. I have quite a few pairs of Manolos and none of them run small at all, so I''m not sure if I''d advise going half a size bigger. Do they have them anywhere else in your size? If they have a return policy, maybe get them shipped to try them on. I do find them so comforable. I''m going to a wedding tomorrow and wearing my red pair of Sedarabys so I''ll let you know how I get on after wearing that pair for over 14 hours. I wear heels quite a bit though and these are definitely comfy.

Thanks Violet and Bee! Good to know they are indeed comfy - I had tried some Louboutins and they were fine for about 5 minutes before my arches started to ache. The nicest other shoes I have are Miu Miu which are actually quite comfy, but in general I''ve been fearful of high-end shoes for that reason!

I went ahead and ordered the size 39''s (half size up) as I checked and my Miu Miu are 39s. If they are too big, maybe I will use my foot petals. They were just too gorgeous to pass up and today Neiman Marcus had free shipping.

My new dress has a lot of movement - really swishy, so I wanted some fab shoes to sashay around in

They''ll look fab with your dress! They''re such a gorgeous shoe. I have some Louboutins and they are so sore to wear for more than about ten minutes, the Manolos are so much more comfortable! I''ll let you know how mine get on tomorrow!

Just to report, I had the shoes on from 1pm yesterday until 5.30 am this morning and they were so comfy! I was up dancing the whole night! Hope you''ll find them as comfy as I did!

Do you mean those red ones???

Bee, where do you buy your Manolo''s from? Do you get them when you go out to the states or mail order or do you have a shop near you?

Thank you!

Yep the red ones!! I''m half tempted as they were so comfy to wear my silver ones for the ceremony and the dinner at my wedding and wear the red ones for the dancing part! They are very pretty!

Hi Maisie

. I buy a couple of pairs every time I go to NY. There''s no where that sells them in Ireland so I''m building my collection slowly but surely. There''s normally a good sale on somewhere in NY when I go also, so it''s great when I get a pair that are half off!

Thanks Bee, I thought you might buy them when you go away! I think there is a shop in London but I have heard the staff there are really snooty!

Bee, that''s great to know! I can''t wait till I get mine in - hope they fit!

My FI just ordered those the other day... Are you looking at the 90mm or 100mm heel? She ordered them in the 110... Oh, she thinks her Manolos (she ahs abot 4-5 pairs) are the most comofrtable of her shoes... FWIW, she curses her Louboutin''s... but likes the 5" heel of the Pigalle (she tiny--5'')

Anyhow, I can have her report back when she gets her Sedarbys in tomorrow... What size are you looking for btw? Manolos tend to be a size smaller (shes a 35.5 in Louboutin / Jimmy Choo, but a 35 in Manolo)

Really? I hate snooty sales staff! They have all been very nice in the store in NY. I''ve also bought them in Barney''s and the staff are amazing there.

You know, I am so giddy right now - the shoes are on the FedEx truck for delivery today! I so hope they will fit. ::fingers crossed::

I never thought I would be this excited over wedding shoes . . .

Here is a photo of them from the NM website (hope this works!)

My dress is ivory lace with silk organza pleats down the skirt. I will have an ivory silk tulle mantilla, and will be wearing kind of antique-looking gold jewelry (not bright gold, if that makes sense) and will have an antique gold brooch attached to the natural waistline of the gown.

I thought these shoes were very glam but also had the antique look that I hope to achieve ...? My girls are wearing peacock blue, and the other colors are muted gold and deep red. We''re using peacock feathers and deep red roses, hypernicum berries and gloriosa lilies for the bridesmaids and table arrangements; I will be carrying gardenias and trailing stephanotis.

So ... I HOPE THEY FIT!!

The set for my FI just came in... She loves them although they are 35.5s and not 35s as she requested (the selller sent the wrong one, and says there was a mix up and there are no more 35s). UGH. I can return them for a full refund... FI will try on tonight though and see if they fit anyhow...

one more pic I just snapped...

Well guess what? They came in and are as gorgeous as I''d imagined, however the 39 is TOO BIG!! Totally not the problem I''d feared I would have. I think the 38.5 would be absolutely perfect - I put foot petals in the 39 but there''s still too much room at the heel. Before I return them I might try to pad up the heel a bit - these are just so gorgeous that I''d hate to send them back.

It appears that I can only get this particular make at Neimans or at Bergdorf''s, but they''re only available in sz 41 now

More bad news... spoke with the eBay seller i got them from... She can''t get the 35''s. UGH.

So... its either the 35''s in the 90mm or nothing...

Unless anyone has any ideas where else you can buy these besides Neiman, Bergdorf, the boutique and Saks... ???

I have those dorsay''s in leather and satin. they more or less run true if not a bit small. I would not go down in size though! they are stunning, aren''t they?

Saks also has them as well..that is where I got mine.

Yes, they only have them in the 90mm, not the 105mm, which she wants. grrr.

More bad news... My FI just found this online searching for them... this is the ebay seller I bought from...

http://forum.purseblog.com/the-glass-slipper/finding-manolos-in-ny-21263.html

Sooooo shady... No wonder no one else can find them, this girl grabs them all and jacks up the price... I actually wouldnt care if she had my size in stock (when the auction said she did, and I dropped $900). GRRRRRR

When I first tried to get my silver Sedarby''s at Barney''s the SA told me they were sold out becuase this girl comes in and cleans them out before they even hit the floor. Turns out he was talking about Naturalgasgirl. Her SA tips her off and collects a big commission and Barney''s doesn''t care as long as the shoes get sold. I mentioned to her that the SA had told me that; I was just making conversation, but boy she got PISSED!! Oh well, the SA''s like to talk, that''s not my fault!!

Sorry to hear about the sizing-that''s rubbish!!

Barneys sell them also-not sure if you tried there yet.
