Ok, so I think I need to lay off Pricescope before bed.

I dreamt 2 nights ago that you got your ring & I got to be the first PSer to see it.

You proudly take it out of the box & show me.......

A cushion cut stone wrapped in turquoise suede leather with little tan suede leather danglies hanging off of it!

So bizzare. And then I had to sit there & pretend it was really unique (you could not even see the stone or metal...it was all sealed up in the suede) until I decided to speak up & I told you I didn't think it was the best way to showcase your stone.

I think I got that because you mentioned in your last post you were prepping for folks to not like your ring (although I have no idea why, the prelim stuff you've shared is amazing ) & you've mentioned your Birkenstock habit (origin of the suede perhaps?)

At any rate, thought you'd get a chuckle.

Dang pregnancy dreams, so weird I tell you!

oh my diver!! Well... I don''t think you''d have to pretend it was *unique* LMAO!!! attractive maybe!!

I know my comments about it being in a cage and having thick prongs (and 8 of them) and saying people won''t like it probably doesn''t make it sound good, but I guess in part I figure better to be surprised good than surprised bad, right? LOL I think also because the band is 6-7mm wide instead of 1.8 and my stone is so funkadelic and quirky (but who am I kidding, so am I LOL) I just assume it won''t be popular. Not sure why I''m worried about it being popular because if that were my goal I would have made vastly different choices LOL

But no worries, there isn''t any turquoise suede involved LOL And I do think it really is a good way to showcase this stone, becaues the ring was seriously designed around the stone from the tips of the prongs down. Prong placement was #1 and everything went from there... I think I told her something like it being a dragon egg held in a dragon''s claw... hehehe anyway yeah the *first* thing I thought when I started reading was oh yeah there are the preg dreams!!!

And you probably will be the first to see it, at least in person :)

LOL....

Well thank god there is no turquoise suede involved. I wish you coulda seen this thing. It was definitely weird.

Well, I love the elements you have posted, but then, I''m the girl with the ring that is 11mm at it widest, then 8mm, tapering down to 4mm, so I like a thick ole ring with lots of architectural flair. (I also love the dainties, but sheesh, DH said I could only have 1 w-ring...party pooper, I need at least 4 to go with my fluctuating moods!)

Yeah, going to sleep lately has been an adventure...straaaaaaaaaaaaaaange dreams.

I had a dream recently where I was cheating on my husband......... with my husband!!! LOL I was cheating on the grumpy one with the adorable one. Omg LOL

I do love more substantial rings though the one I''ve been wearing is a thin band with a 10mm round and I can definitely see its allure. The way she''s doing my ring SHOULD look like a 3mm matte band flanked by two 2mm diamond bands.... but without the mix and match quality of being able to remove them, and allowing them to "sit flush" while keeping the stone under 8mm low and around a stone that is over 9.5 mm long. It was best to just do it all in one ring - besides, who am I kidding... I wouldn''t wear any of them apart anyway... if I need a plain band I have my wedding ring!
