Hi!

I LOVE your 5 stone band and am wondering what size stones you have? I got quotes from WF for a ring made with 5 .33 stones (1.65ctw). I tried on a 1.58ctw band today for size and the stones seemed a lot smaller than your ring. I could have sworn your stones were about the same size, but maybe not. LOL!

Hi there! The stones are .31''s. Thanks for posting the information feathers, you should be able to find pretty much everything in there. My finger size is 4.5 by the way, so keep that in mind when you are doing a size comparison. I find that the .31s are very blingy and get compliments on my band all the time!

Orbaya,
Kcoursolle is right. You need to take finger size into account. When I decided to get the same ring, I knew that those size stones would NOT
look the same on my size 7 1/2 finger. Hence, I went with half carats to get the same look.

I''m a size 5 to get the ring over my knuckle, so my finger is smaller where the ring will sit so I can''t imagine that there would be a huge difference in looks. The stones in the ring just looked so small compared to yours. I''m considering using your design for my band...do you mind? I just love it so much!!

I''ve looked online at so many different styles, and I keep coming back to this one!

Do find that the girdles of the diamonds are fairly protected? I''m afraid that I might chip them because the design is so open.

It''s funny...I originally started looked at .20''s, then .25''s, then back to .20''s, and all of a sudden I''m at .33''s!! LOL!

Thanks. I''ll need to order a size 5, so I can''t imagine there would be a huge difference. My knuckle is larger, so my finger is actually smaller than a 5.

Naw, I don''t mind at all. I''m actually flattered that you like my ring. I''m not too worried about the girdles, but I would recommend getting good insurance no matter what. I find that I usually knock my ring from the E and W side than from the N or S where the girdles are exposed. You might want to ask the WF folks (or whatever vendor you are going with) if about girdle protection.

Good luck, I can''t wait to see how your ring comes along!!

I''m going to have WF make it (giving the go-ahead this week!

). I''m definitely going to get insurance...I have to start doing some research on that. I have other jewelry I should insure too, but I need to get updated appraisals.

I am a fellow lover of kcoursolle''s design - she should have it patented!!

My ring is also inspired by kcoursolle, although I am having my local jeweller here in the UK make it for me. I bought 5 .45 stones from bluenile. My finger size is a UK ''K'' which I think corresponds to a 5.5.....we meausred the top of my finger and .45 was the ABSOLUTE maximum I could have gone for - it will be rather blingy I think!

The setting is being hallmarked at the moment, so hopefully I will have my ring by the end of the week - I look forward to sharing photos!!!
