@windblownhair - I just noticed your lovely rings. Do they have threads anywhere? if not - would you be willing to start one? They look so pretty and individual! Hand shots, profile, sitting in flowers....any and all of it!

Oh eek! That's me. :mrgreen2: No threads on any of them yet. I'm an embarrassingly bad photographer, so I mostly lurk and drool over everyone else's pretties. But I would be willing to try to learn. I just read over the pinned thread on taking good pictures of diamonds. I think I'll probably try experimenting on hubby's Canon and my iPhone and see which gives me best results.

And thank you for the lovely request! It made me feel all warm and squishy inside :geek2: I don't have a large collection but they're all cherished.

Hi @windblownhair ! I'm glad you saw this. :)

Any photos would be great. But how about starting with some info about your gorgeous rings? You could tell us where they came from, what their styles are, stone specs, cast or hand forged - and so on. As for photos - anything from an iphone will do! I take HORRIBLE phone photos...but who cares, y'know? A photo is a photo!

Get crackin', lady! :wavey:

Alrighty, I'm attempting this with my terrible iPhone skills :lol-2:

This is the stack I usually wear to work. I'm a math teacher and a rather clumsy one, so not having any big stones to knock against the board is a good thing.

The top band is 14kt YG. I got it from Arbotique Designs on Etsy. Really great customer service and the price point was amazing.

Middle band is a 14kt YG Sophia band from CVBInspiredDesign. It's got the antiquing so that the flowers really pop. The French cuts are F-G, VS.

The bottom band is a YG stackable ribbon diamond band from MoissaniteCo. The diamonds are little 1 pointers, G, SI.

The setting for my e-ring is 14kt YG and made by David Klass. I love all the detail work to it. It's delicate but the head really protects my diamond.

I was a bit nervous about buying the setting...I got the setting second hand, and it already had a 6.5mm stone in it. My diamond is a 6.6mm, so I just sort of chanced it and it worked out.

The other plus is that it's an heirloom diamond (inherited from maternal grandmother) and the girdle has a chip. The local jeweler who set it for me turned it perfectly so the chip is hidden beneath a prong. Yay!

One last picture of my stack (I tried to play with the filters so you could see the pastels on my diamond better...I may have gone a little overboard because my wall is not that shade irl but oh well )

I remember seeing that ring on DB (correct me if I'm wrong). It had a yellow stone in it. It looks so much better now, with its new diamond center. :kiss2:

That's it! You've got a good memory. And thank you! I was so excited to have a nicer setting for my diamond (it was previously in a 4-prong WG solitaire, which was pretty basic and wasn't going the stone any favors). The antique cut pops in the YG setting and I think the diamond looks a bit whiter, too.

I may or may not stalk those websites.

That's how I got my Sophia. I caught one of Caysie's deals on LT.

LOVE your stack! And the ring is perfect for it all too

What a great set of stacking rings and a beautiful setting for you e-ring. It's a perfect complement for it. Either that was totally kismet or you are incredibly talented in putting beautiful pieces together! Me thinks it's the latter.

I love your rings - all of them! What a beautiful collection of small beauties! Your e-ring really does it for me tho - I LOVE it! The combination of that setting with your stone is hugely serendipitous!

Congratulations on your gorgeous collection - and thank you for going to the trouble of sharing; these rings definitely deserve their own page!

Wow - your rings are just beautiful! Such a breath of fresh air in terms of settings and bands. Thank you for sharing with us!

MissGotRocks, thank you so much for the kind words! Blushing over here.

mrs-b, thank you for the gentle push. It was surprisingly fun trying to get a decent picture out of my phone.

luv2sparkle, awww thanks! I love the word kismet. And now I have the songs from the musical running through my head

yennyfire, Hehe, all credit goes to the iPhone on that one. I just clicked a bunch and made liberal use of filters. Once I'm feeling more confident I'll have to go for a flower post. And thank you!

Such a lovely, pretty & interesting set of rings! Absolutely adore them & how they sort of flow together!. Do they have stories behind them, such as special occasions & sentiment?

Wow! I love your rings - they're individually stunning and as a collection just amazing! I especially love your engagement ring setting.

Lovely rings and beautiful photography!

Alex T, thank you! They're all 'engageversary' presents (yes, we're the saps that celebrate engagement anniversary and wedding anniversary :lol-2:). Somehow I end up picking practical presents from wedding anniversary but engageversary is bling time!

foxinsox, thank you! I love your username. That's always been my favorite Seuss book :read:

Tourmaline, thanks so much! I'm giving the phone credit for any successful pictures:mrgreen:

Beautiful ering and stack WBH...love all the detail in your rings!

Hi!!! So glad you posted pics, you have gorgeous rings!!!

tyty333, eek yes, details make it fun. At least to distract me when I'm treating my stack like a fidget spinner. :P2
