Can any of you guess what he is talking about?

Ok so Mr. Man and I are about to have our 3 year anniversary (yea!). I don't think an engagement ring is in the cards yet (I did just make him engagement chicken however.... so you never know!) haha!

Well, I hate surprises (I know it's awful but I do) however Mr. Man LOVES torturing me by planning surprises then throwing out little clues that have me guessing for entirely too long.

Our anniversary is on a Friday (August 15th) but we will be celebrating it on Saturday.

His hints have been:

*It has something to do with "riding" or going on a "ride"
*We will have a picnic lunch wherever we will be... (He told me that is the one thing I could do for our anniversary outing because he wants to plan the whole thing this time. When I asked if I should enclude some wine in the picnic basket he said no... which makes me think that maybe we will be doing something a little active... cause normally he wouldn't say no to some wine!)
*I may want to wear a swimsuit but it doesn't seem to be required

Any guesses?

I though about maybe horseback riding but he said that we have done it before... and we have never been horseback riding before....

Any thoughts would be helpful!

Disclaimer.... Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if all of his "hints" are all made up to throw me off track. He knows me too well! haha

BTW... the engagement chicken was yummy! I wish I knew an "expiration date" on that sucker! Haha

My first guess was something on a boat - maybe sailing or something of that nature? Could also explain why he can not or does not want wine in the lunch...

surfing? your ride a board, you wear a wet suit so swimsuits are optional, and you definitely don''t want to be drunk.

Oooh Parasailing would be nice! I''ve been wanting to do that... but we''ve never done that before so that would be out as an option.

Sailing could be an idea. (I''d loooooove that!)

Also, maybe it is kayaking somewhere special? It''s true that we haven''t done it in awhile with the big move and everything... and now that we live on the water, that could be an option.

He loves surfing and has been wanting to teach me how to do it sence we moved to where there are waves.... that could be it!

He has now gone on to say that the "thing" has two engines.... but it isn''t any kind of boat/airplane/jetskii/submarine/helicopter/car/motercycle/cliff jumping apparatus... even though we live in Florida and there are no cliffs

I have now come to the point where I know he is completely making things up to screw with me.... drives me nuts.

I''ve given up... we will just have to see.

I thought maybe it was the hot air balloon thing... and maybe he just wanted to see me in a bikini?

haha. But he did mention that one of our friends had recently done it and didn''t like it. So I''m not sure if he would still do it.

With the boat idea... I really think it has something to do with a boat. But he said no! Then I asked him about the two engine thing and how it could be NONE of the things I suggested. (I mean… I guessed EVERYTHING that had an engine!)

Or conversation went like this:
Me: Seriously, It HAS to be one of those things. There is nothing else out there with an engine...let alone two engines!
Him: Well that is because it doesn''t have two engines... and he started smiling.
Me: Sigh
Hime oh, yes it does....

I almost threw my drink on him.

Another clue is that it involves water... some of that you could drink... some of it you wouldn''t want to drink. (Standing water or salt water maybe?)

Oh well, I have no clue....I''m horrible at riddles! I think he likes it that way.

That''s how SO surprised me for my 24th b-day! Anyways, I think you should stop guessing because if you do it get it right, he is going to be disappointed to have his hard work and surprise spoiled.

I LOVE surprises, but it IS hard to not be nosy and curious.

so I''m resurrecting this old thred to let you know what Mr. Man planned for our Anni!

Our anniversary was on Friday and on Saturday morning we went out to the garage where we set up these...

so...the clues:

Obviously it was riding bikes. And the plan was to ride our bikes to the state park and to the beach where we would have a picnic lunch. (unfortunately setting up the bikes took 5 hours so we had to settle for a bike ride around our neighborhood for our first trip)haha.

The "two engines" were Mr. Man and I. haha! And the two kinds of water were bottled water for us to drink and sweat. Goofy guy!

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary and I''m looking forward to many more bike rides.

So I just thought I''d let you know what the end result was in case any of you were curious!

And one last photo... yes, I was in a dress and luckily, I didn''t pull a Britney once!
