Can I ask for a little bit of dust ...

I feel almost trivial asking but FF and I leave for our RTW trip in 3 days and as to my knowledge (waiting for an email reply) our ring is not finished yet

. We will be in NY for 5 days and I am at the point where I am packing kittens over this.

The engagement is a given no matter what but if you ladies can throw some dust our way that the ring will be done on time I would be ecstatic, I am hoping it is a case of whinging about it and then it being done kind of thing.

Also any dust for a safe and happy trip will also be appreciated , I can't believe it is all happening so fast.

katamari I can always ship it home but then it would have to wait at a depo for about 7.5-8wks till we got back

, as we are traveling so much I don''t know where it would meet us on the way.

Call me a sentimental sop but I just so want him to propose with "THE RING" and I know he does as well last correspondence was about 1.5wk ago and Leon said it is looking good but it is still to early to tell. FF emailed him last night so hopefully when he reopens I have some positive news

BF and I went ring shopping today to look at stuff in person, and talked more about everything. He just wants me to be happy. I''m thinking a proposal with a plain band would make me happy. I alternate between totally frustration and being excited. So we''ll see if my head explodes while you''re gone.

Your FF sounds like a doll, mine kept telling me the same thing I just want you to be happy, it took me about a year an half to decide what I want diamond wise, about 2 months to find the stone and then another 3-4 months to decide on the setting so really your miles ahead of where I was when I first started.

Would you be happy with a plain band and doing it in reverse keeping the stone for the wedding ring? I always wondered why you get the better bling for the smaller event LOL thats always an idea and it might take some of the pressure off that you feel and you can take your time with it. I understand how frustrated you must be sometimes it just gets too overwhelming you just get completely over it and want to give up, but I know it is there somewhere, positive thoughts a million coming your way.



I can''t believe that he is going to pop the question soon

, funny thing is closer it gets the more excited he gets and the more chillaxed and zen I become complete role reversal. I just hope I don''t panic and run away when he does it, I told him this and he told me he would just have to run fast and catch me awwwwww.

I really hope the ring will be ready and it will be on the trip, he has so many fantastic romantic places to choose from and so far he has not even let out a peep of a hint no matter how sneaky I try to be. I want to stay as open minded as possible so whatever and whenever he does it will be the right time and place.

I promise to bore you all with 110 million photos when I get back and regal you all with my adventures (and mis-adventures

). I just can''t believe how soon it is, I am sure I have said that already.
