Can I get away with this for a save-the-date?

I have put together a save-the-date that I love, but it''s a small card, and due to that and the font pattern, I don''t have room to put the location of our wedding. It''s really important to me to get our website out there to our guests because the accomodation situation is going to be tricky and I have explained it on our website. So, I used up the extra space with the website instead of the location. Obviously, if they go on the website, they will see the location. So, can I get away with this, or do you think I need to figure something else out? Thanks!!!!

honestly I think you can get away with it.. esp. since you are driving them to the website..

No worries!

I think that that''s fine and if any of the guests have questions, they have plenty of time to contact you to ask.

lost my reply somehow ...

anyway, i think it would be nice to include at least the city and whether the ceremony/reception will be in teh morning, afternoon or evening. but if you don''t have this info determined yet then i think this is fine. i like the card - it is very elegant

I think that is a great way of doing it. We had tricky hotel situations, too, that we only explained on our website.
Well, it turns out some people did not go to the website at all (and they were definitely internet-savvy). So they didn''t know about the situation at all, and we had to to do some last minute stressful hotel switches. I think if someone HAS to go to the website to get the location, they will definitely be more likely to actually go there! (i guess it''s like a business - they ''mystery'' will drive people to check out your site!)

Thanks for the input! I am so glad that you guys think I can get away with it. Brgirl, you''re right, it might force them to the website, which is a good thing. Our wedding is in one city, but I want guests to stay in a different city nearby because I think there will be more things to do and it will be easier to get to our welcome dinner and such.

I''d just hate to have people think I''m an idiot for forgetting to put the location on the STD.

i have several relatives who would not necessarily go immediately to a website so that is why i would add the city but i guess a personal call to them would clear that up.

ringster, you are right, especially with older relatives. However, our wedding will only be about 40 guests, so I''m hoping it shouldn''t be too hard for any or all of them to ask questions.

I think you can definitely get away with it! I love the color!!!!!!!!!!!

I like that card VERY much. It is very similar to what I had (except we had red cards with white ink). You know, I''m not sure we put a location on ours either. Anyway, I like that it''s simple and pretty.

I love the color and the save the date in general. One thing though -- if you played with the spacing and moved your names up a little closer to the part that says "save the date," could you fit at least the location? I was going to mention that there could be a possiblilty that not everyone would be Internet-savvy enough to find the website, but with only 40 people, I wouldn''t worry about that as much now.

Beautiful card!
