Cartier Second Hand 1895 Pave Ring

Hi experts - I am new on here and looking at buying a second hand Cartier 1895 Pave Ring
I was wondering if all Cartier pieces have a Cartier number inscribed on the diamond as well as the GIA number? Also if the GIA report and the purchase date are not within a year of each other is that a red flag?

Hi Mia, can't answer al your questions, but the GIA report must be older than the ring. If not then it will not be the original diamond.

I understand that just sometimes the GIA report is 5-6 years older than the purchase date - I wonder if they are made to order why a diamond would be that ‘old’ seems a long time to keep stock.
