Cathedral or Conventional Setting for Toi et Moi

Attached are CADs of my soon-to-be Toi et Moi. What do you think of the cathedral setting? Or would conventional be better?

I think it looks beautiful and graceful! Plus of course you can easily wear a band with it.

What do YOU think about it? Was cathedral an element you told the vendor to include, or was it vendor's idea?

Thanks, everyone. It was the designer's idea, he highly recommends it. He showed me an idea of what a Toi et Moi can look like without it and the cathedral setting is much better.

Do you think the diamonds would look better with an open setting instead of the basket setting where there's the horizontal bar at the girdle?
